I-75 from Mackinaw South to Niagara Falls

We will be leaving Marquette, MI and heading over to 75 to go South passing Detroit, Toledo and Cleveland up to Niagara Falls. Need a place to stop for the night or two as it is 820 miles.

So what is the traffic like during the week near the cities and any place you would recommend we stop at on the way.

TIA.
JJ

If you take I-75 to Flint then US-23 south (avoiding Detroit) the only place you might get heavy traffic is around Toledo Ohio, just avoid morning and evening rush and you should be ok. Ann Arbor MI is about 1/2 way for you and I have no campground experience in that area. Safe travels.

From Marquette, MI to Niagara Falls is 650 miles:

I-75 to I-69 at Frankenmuth then 402/403 to Hamilton and on to Niagara.

There are all types of good campgrounds in MI and OH along that route. Public and private.

Nice campground in Frankenmuth, Flying J on I 280 in Perrysburg, and Austinburg (off of I 90), Oh. Both of these have RV parking.
