I-75 North out of FL

Does anyone have a report of I-75 northbound traffic up into GA?

If you have a smart phone, your best bet is downloading Google Maps which will give you real time traffic.

Looking at google maps now, only major traffic is on 75 in Brandon (west of Tampa).

I don't think it's normal but yesterday at the turnpike junction to 75 northbound there was a hugh backup. I didn't see any news about what caused it and I don't think it's normal, but it's worth a mention.

Unless you are going right away and get an immediate reply, what's the use of asking for a traffic report on here? Traffic will almost certainly be totally different by the time you get there.

Yeah I guess my question did seem a little like I was asking for a instant traffic report, but I wasn’t. I thought there might be some heading north and may had some input on things in general terms, nothing more than that.

Canadian friends left Bradenton FL on Sunday and said there is a lot of RV traffic heading north, mainly Quebec, Ontario and New York plates. They said the rest areas were full of RVs.

So perhaps traffic will be less than usual headed north as we get closer to the beginning of April. As long as we can get fuel I'm OK with delays. I think.

I saw a 40ish? DP off the right shoulder upright in the ditch along I-75 at the 241mm northbound. I hope everyone is ok. The trooper was there no ambulance or wrecker. Entry door was open.

We left Bradenton, FL on Thursday and took I-75 all the way to Cincinnati, OH. It was a speed limit trip all the way including through Atlanta on Saturday morning about 9:30 AM. The last 200 miles were on I-71 northbound today and we saw precisely one RV. It was like driving on a holiday and really depressing since that's not the reason.
