I miss Streets and Trips

Google maps has offline support. You can download map data when you have a good connection. Windows 10 maps also will let you download map data.

There are so many features missing from BaseCamp, that I never bothered trying it as a navigator. I also have never succeeded in get it to show current location.

Is it even possible to use it as a real time navigator??

I am still hoping that I can have some success with either Furkot or Co-pilot. The places we go and on the spur of the moment, makes all the online planners pretty much useless.

BC is for storage and planning. Garmin's GPS is my real time navigator. I can upload and download between them. I keep POIs in BC many obtained from: http://www.discoveryowners.com/cginfo.htm Upload the ones needed to the GPS. If you have an interest, let me know and I will try to help.
