Info on Hwy 191 in AZ and Utah

We are making our spring trek from AZ back to the Seattle area. We are thinking of taking highway 191 north of I-40 in AZ up through Utah into Provo. Anyone have any experience on that route? What is the road like? I read there are two passes at almost 10,000'. I can't tell by the maps if there are many places to stop for fuel. I was thinking we would spend the night in Moab? Has anyone stayed in a good RV park there? We appreciate your knowledge!

If you're just taking 191 to Provo it's a piece of cake! No problem whatsoever. No big grades. There is a section of 191 from Vernal north to Flaming Gorge that is steep but many RVers do it, including us. Have a good trip.

Check out Canyonlands Campground. It is right on Main St in Moab, great location for an overnight or better yet, a few days. Walking distance to the restaurants and shops.

Erich,
If you want to get an idea of elevations and grades check out this posting from the other day. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/on-th...pp-198002.html
Great free app from Google, you just need to install Google Chrome browser if you don't already have it.
