Jackson, Wy to Rawkins, Wy

Will be in Jackson, Wy this August and need to go south to I80/Rawlins. Will be in a 38ft MH, towing. Does anyone know if 287 or 191 would be the best route? Thanks for any info out there!!

Last year we did 191 to Rock Springs then to Rawlins. Roads was in good shape and a pleasent drive. We did it in reverse from your trip and went through Rock Springs so we could make a WalMart run before heading to Jackson.

Enjoy your trip.

About 3 weeks ago we came out of West Yellowstone on 191, then we took 26/287. Stopped at the Dubois KOA and it was a nice stopping point. The KOA is 2 blocks from middle of down town, so you can walk to a restaurant.

We had no problems on 287 in a 40 ft, towing (or 26, 191). Stayed at KOA Rawlins, but only a one nighter.
