Jalama Road / Beach

I am curious about first hand accounts of Jalama Road off of CA Hwy 1. I understand it is 14 miles of narrow, no shoulder road, and I have looked on street view to confirm that ....

Is it something a 22 foot bumper pull and TV can navigate safely?

You'll do just fine. It is a stretch (long) and it is a little curvy but your rig will handle it. Now it's been a few years for me, but unless the road has worsened I'm confident you will find it doable. Have fun!

We travel that road often, but in the towed. It is as you describe, but as posted, certainly doable with your set up. The park has spaces for larger class As and I’ve seen them on the road and in the park. Slow and easy and care on the blind curves (there are a few).

Definitely worth the trip if the wind is not extreme. Beautiful beach and you must indulge in a Jalama Burger. You won’t regret it!

Thanks folks.

Like you said, obviously folks do it I guess - as evidenced by the pictures of Class A and long 5ers.

If we go, we'll go slow.

Been there in our RV twice.....had to leave early twice.

First time due to wind...WIND! So windy it would slam close our slow close lippert door.
Second due to high security Air Force launch at Vandenberg.

Nice place if neither of those things happen while you're there.
