LA Pine. OR Hwy. 31 to Hwy. 395 South

Instead of continuing south on Hwy. 97 to the CA border, is Hwy. 31 ok? My Mountain Directory has no warnings and is a "grey" state highway. We love Mt. Lassen and went there in 2019, and it is most likely too early for mid April travel.

We would continue on 395 to Reno.
Thanks!

That’s the route I’m taking later to cut through Reno. No problem doing it.
