Lancaster PA to Ocean Lakes Myrtle Beach SC
Just booked first 2 weeks of November for Ocean Lakes campground we'll be leaving from the Dutch wonderland area of Lancaster Pa just wondering if there is a better way to go south. Would love to finally be able to avoid all the BS on 95 in Virginia is Rt 81 a better alternative? If so what do you take to travel east? What state do you go east in? Any help would be great.

I-81 traffic can be heavy at times. If you want interstate travel, go west on U.S. 30 to Chambersburg, PA, then south on I-81 to Wytheville, Va., I-77 to Columbia, SC, I-20 east to Florence, SC, then U.S. 501 east to Myrtle Beach.
If you are not in a hurry, U.S. 30 east to Gap, PA, PA 41, Del. 41 to Wilmington, Del., I-95 south to U.S. 13 south (Delaware 1 is a toll road)thru Delmarva Peninsula to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel and Norfolk, VA (rest area just north of bridge to shut off LP). Pick up U.S. 17 south on the south side of Norfolk all the way to Myrtle Beach. This route will take you thru a lot of towns but also a lot of Colonial and Civil War history.

Well, the Original Post say's he's booked the first two weeks of November at the campground. I'd assume he's leaving a day or two before then.
