Lax to yellowstone

W are camping in Yellowstone in September at Grizzly rv park west Yellowstone. We are coming from via Fort Steele AB and finishing in Dallas via Dubois Wy
We have friends coming from Australia flying into lax then leaving us to go to NY.
The question where can they fly into from LAX and where best to fly out of to go to NY.
I'm happy to pick them up from any airport. So looking for a high volume air route from LA.

I would suggest either Boseman, Mt or Yellowstone airport.

Thanks
I have found flights in and out of west Yellowstone which are relatively cheap and only one stop each way

You might also check Jackson, WY. We have relatives comming to Idaho Falls from Atlanta, GA. Jackson was cheeper than Salt Lake City, Idaho Falls etc.
