Leaving Las Vegas headed for Bakersfield next week. Considering taking the 215 freeway to HY 146 the Saint Rose Parkway then out to I 15. I have never taken the Saint Rose Parkway before and was wondering if it is a good way to go. 42 ft motorhome towing a Ford Explorer.

4 or 5 lights but 5 lanes to sb 15

Shouldn't be a problem. Just be aware of your travel times and traffic loads.

Last weekend(Sunday, Nov 30), by 11 AM, the freeway billboards on I-15S in LV were recommending US 95 south to I-40 (to Barstow/LA) instead of I-15 S. Friday traffic into and Sunday traffic out of LV from SoCal has to be seen to be believed. 140 miles of 15-40 mph. Plan accordingly.

Leave after 9:00am, after the rush hour traffic and you will be just fine. Check news before you leave!

Update:
Left LV on Wednesday 12/3 about 10 am. Found this to be a much better route than doing I15 through town. Traffic was light and other than a few traffic lights the trip went very well. Will probably use this route again.
