MA to Nashville
We'll be heading to Nashville in late August from Western MA. Anyone with route suggestions?
We will be in a MH, with a 12'6" clearance needed.
Thanks in advance!

you'll have no clearance issues along any of the interstates or US highways. likely no clearance issues on state, county or local highways but I'd suggest you get a copy of the Rand McNally Truckers atlas.
as for routes...are you looking for a speedy route or a more leisurely pace? Can't help you with the latter but consider working your way over from wherever you are in western Mass to I-81 to I-40 into Nashville.

You just stated that you were in western MA. So I would take the NY thruway to Newburgh and get on I-84. Then north on I-380 to Scranton. Take I 81 from that point stay on I-81 till you get to I-40. That will take you to Nashville.
It's an easy trip. We've done most of it three times and have had fun every time. Unlike most interstates. Once you get into the Shenendoah Valley, the scenery is very nice.
You're looking at around 1,000+ miles.
Happy Trails!!!

We stayed in Lebanon @ KOA and drove in to the city. It was worth the hassle with the traffic and money saved. Traffic in Nashville is crazy. I’d rather drive in New Orleans, Cleveland, Omaha than go back there!

The I 81 route is the best, no tolls etc.. Depending where in Mass you are..... you can take I 88 from Albany, down and hit I 81 in NY. Once out of Albany, it is a very nice drive till Scranton Pa when it gets busy for awhile.

Albany is an easy drive for us, so that is a great suggestion, thanks!
We are in Western MA, right outside of Springfield and have easy access to the Mass Turnpike.

Unless you just like mountain driving, coming down the valley on I-81 is the best way then I-40 to Nashville where you will cross the Cumberlands on an easy up and down.

Back today from Nashville.
Took 84 to 81, then 40. Easy drive.
Stayed at Two Rivers campground in Nashville. Easy access, loved the shuttle to downtown. Campground was clean, with a nice pool and someone playing most nights we were there.
Thanks for all who offered advice on route planning!
