Manatee Springs State Park to Topsail State Park

We're firming up our plans and I am trying to figure out which route to take from Manatee Springs State Park to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Mapquest show 2 possibilities.
1. Rt 10
2 19, 98, 20, and a few other roads

If anyone has driven this way, which roads do you prefer. We'll be pulling a 30 ft travel trailer. I'm looking for the easiest most relaxing drive. Thanks

ROUTE 2 takes you through many, many little towns and Lots of pine trees. This will be slower and lots to see. 98 runs along coast although you can only see the coast once below Tallahassee and beyond.

We drove our 38' Dutch Star pulling the Jeep from Panama City Beach to Crystal River in January on 98, 19, 20 etc. Very easy drive through the area.

Ended up at the Tampa show, then too I-75 /I-10 west. Long boring drive. The interstate route also leaves you about 70 miles north of the coast. Depending on when you drive 98 can be pretty congested through Panama City / Panama City Beach. (Especially March / April - Spring Break time)

I'd take the backroads again.

Unless I'm in some kind of silly hurry, back roads win out over interstate every time.
