Medora, North Dakota (western ND) to West Glacier, Montana

I am wondering which of the two available routes is better, i.e., either take Route 2 west towards Havre, or take Route 200 towards Great Falls. Google maps has route 2 as being just about 8 miles shorter, but Route 200 looks more scenic.

We'll be doing this in a 35' motorhome towing a dinghy.

Any suggestions? And thanks.

Medora Musical in Medora.

Either route from Medora to GNP is fine...UNLESS...there's construction. For the last couple of summers, there's been some construction on 200. I don't know what's planned for this coming summer, but, this source does: MDT Travel and Weather Information

IF you end up on 2, be sure to check this out: Havre Beneath the Streets There's also this: Buffalo Jump

If you end up on 200, you should plan on a visit here: Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center

Take care,
Stu

Thanks guys. I think it's going to be Route 2, especially since the Montana DOT link shows much more construction on Route 200. I really appreciate the advice.
