Missoula to Roseville California
Hello Everyone
Long time viewer. Have enjoyed the wealth of information presented here!
Will be arriving in Missoula from Glacier NP and will be parting ways with my brother who will continue his journey to Portland OR and we will head on home to Roseville CA. Would like to drive another 150 miles that day.
Looking for suggestions for the best route to Roseville. I am good for 300 miles a day. Pulling a 24' fiver with Ram 2500. Have three days to get home.
Thank you

Have you tried google maps driving directions.
US 95 south to I-80. 875 miles = 3 days.

Thank you for your reply
Yes that was the shortest route when i did google. Just want to make sure that I can get fuel every 300 miles and find overnight stays. Are you familiar with that route?
Thanks

The 3 routes Google Maps gives are 879 mi, 946 mi., 1036 mi.
Since you need fuel every 300 miles and since the first two are really remote drives, I'd suggest you do the 1036 mi. route. It's not that much longer (150 mi) and you'll have more choices of fuel and campgrounds. I-90, I-15, I86/84, NV93 to I-80.
Which way did you take to get there?

twogypsies thank you for your reply.
Our trip started at Roseville to Yellowstone, Grand Teton NP, Badlands, Glacier NP.
We will be staying one week at Henry's State Park (route to there from Roseville I80 N93, I84/86, I15, US20) and enter Yellowstone West entrance, one week at COLTER BAY VILLAGE RV PARK, than onto Custer State Park for one week than up to Glacier Apgar Campground for one week.
Thank you for the suggestions. You confirmed my thoughts the extra miles for fuel and overnight stays.

I don't believe you will run into anywhere that it would be over 300 mi between fuel stops. Even in Nv the longest that i am aware of is 163 mi.

NevadaNick, thank you!
I used Gas Buddy and I agree with you.
I have been planning this trip using RV Trip Wizard. I wish it provided more fuel stop information. It seems to provide that information for major routes.
Thank You
