Montana Roads

Looking to go from Great Falls MT to Havre MT in July. Driving a 40' RV towing a car 4 wheels down. Is Hwy 87 and OK route I know it is 2 lane but wondering about condition and grades.

A few very brief frost heaves just out of Great Falls and near Fort Benton, not enough to bother. They’re planning on chip sealing on some of it but not sure of timing. MTDOT web site will tell. Good road with lots of rv traffic that time of year.
