Is the Natchez Trail Parkway between Cherokee, AL to Tupelo, MS okay for a rig & toad of 65' in length?

If so, is this a BLue Ridge Parkway type of drive?

many thanks

Natchez Trace Pkwy. is From Nashville Tn. to Natchez Ms. When you get to Natchez don't forget to take some house tours. There is a beautyfull campgrounds just across the Mississippi from Natchez (Vidalia,La). Take three days to drive the trace to get the full story. Jim

The Natchez Trace Parkway is about as good as it gets for a nice drive in your RV, no matter what the size. The speed limit is 45 or 50, so you won't make the kind of time you would make on an interstate; but it is a very easy, relaxing, scenic drive. There is no commercial traffic (trucks of buses) allowed. In fact, there is usually very little traffic, period. There are no traffic lights and I can't remember even seeing any stop signs once you get on the parkway. The road has gentle curves and is relatively flat. There are numerous places where you can jump off for food, fuel, or camping. Just set the cruise control and enjoy.

Thanks for the posts. I just did the trail mentioned in the thread title. It was as you have posted. Nice and gentle drive, no traffic at all.

Paz,
Thanks for the info on the Natchez Trace. We were in Vicksburg and areas south and really want to go back and your post was timely. The interstate thru Jackson is an absolute mess but 280 into Meridian was very scenic.
