New England circle tour

Iím having a challenging time trying to plot a circle tour through New England. We anticipate are stopping and starting point to be Albany New York. Trying to avoid big cities like Boston were interested in covering as much of the territory as we can including going as far is Saint John New Brunswick.

We donít mind interstates for quick travel between point A. and B and enjoy camping facilities that are full hook up and are a good base camp for exploring an area within 40 miles of worthwhile attractions.

Any recommendations and help would be great. Iím just having a hard time trying to plan this trip because of the geography.

I can give you an overall circle tour that I have done in a car/hotel - then you can break it apart piece by piece to find RV Parks that fit your needs.

Albany down 90East to Auburn/Worcester. Visit Sturbridge, Newport RI, and even Cape Cod, plus day tour of Boston if desired. Pick up 495 N to Newburyport. Tour Gloucester Peninsula, Salem, and Portsmouth. Head up 95 to Kennebunkport. (Some good RV Parks in this area). Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Portland, Cape Elizabeth worth visiting. Keep heading north on 295 to Brunswick - I could spend a month between here and Bar Harbor alone, including Acadia National Park.
When done, route yourself over to Rangely Lake, down to White Mountains, then over to Burlington VT. Pick up 2N, circle the Lake, and come back South on 9 to Ausable Chasm. At that point you can head further West, and then come South into Utica and back over to Albany, but my choice would be to stay on 9, head down to Lake George, Glens Falls, and Saratoga Springs and head back into Albany.

Realize this is pretty generic, but hope it helps a bit - even if just to give you a starting point.
