Tomorrow supposed to warm up and be fine in that area. Looks like a mix of rain and snow along I-5 through Portland and south of there right now. Even at that, the top 1/2 of Oregon should be OK on the freeways in the middle of the day. Tomorrow should be no problem.

We are 30 miles South of Portland, temp is presently 34 degrees with rain. Have not left the neighborhood but the street in front of my house seems to be thawing. Suspect the freeway would be better yet due to traffic.

We're just north of Portland. Local report is 34° and rain. Looking out the front window even our side street is looking slushy and OK. When the temps fall tonight it'll be icy again though.

Thought that might be the case. Will hit Portland mid morning and end up at Seven Feathers for the night. Checking on the flooding in Northern Kali for Tues and hope for Rolling Hills casino. Then should be OK south. Any one else on the road?

Currently, south of Seven Feathers is calling for heavy rain, but warming. Obvious problems expected in the passes. Sexton Summit seems to be the worst at the moment, but doable. Expecting warming trend, so the passes should improve. Siskiyou pass is open.

Len, enjoy your trip.
We just arrived back home and did not have a chance to get in town.
Thank you for your generosity.

Lots of highway cameras that might help give you an idea of road conditions. https://tripcheck.com/Pages/RCMap.asp

I'm in southern Oregon and right now conditions are lousy.

Just saw the news tonight and they were showing snow on Sexton pass and expecting more overnight. Keep an eye on the weather cams on the above link. If you have to wait a day, Seven Feathers is a good place to be

Rained all night. Talked to truckers and it ain't looking good, I5 was shut down last night 7:00 for a while. Nice and warm here at Seven Feathers, looking at the conditions I think it will be home tonight too. Tomorrow to Grants pass and then I5 into Cali. or 199 to the coast and 101 south to "better weather maybe?".
Any input appreciated.

Keep us informed as to where you go and the road conditions. We are still sitting it out at home in Woodburn waiting for what looks like a good clear shot over the mountains.

Came from Seven Feathers yesterday, the road was bare and dry except for the few rain showers and the melting snow on the edges running across the road. Just about to hit the road from Rolling Hills Casino(Hey I won a little last night) raining most of the night and looks like a day of rain.

Thanks for the update. Always nice to win a little. Hopefully you left them enough so we can win some too. Looks like we won't get out of here until Saturday now but, the reports look good for clear sailing.
