Palm Springs to las Vegas to Bakersfield

What would be the best route to Vegas from palm springs. Hwy 10 back to 15 north to Vegas? Then Vegas to bakersfield 15 south to 58 then west to bakrrsfield?

What are you looking for???
Scenic, 4 lanes, fastest, less traffic, etc.

All routes are good depending on what you want.

I do not like going up through Victorville due to all the traffic
lights, however, Barstow can be a treat to visit.

To be honest, there's so little to see on the alternate roads, unless you want to sidestep to see the London Bridge and/or Oatman (and to be honest, while I love the burros, it's hard to suggest that size a detour for them), that's the only routing that makes sense.

No traffic lights on the freeway. You must be referring to those along 395 around Adelanto.
