Phoenix to BC end of March

I plan to drive up from Phoenix the last week of March. What's the warmest and driest route? I will be driving a 1937 Jaguar SS100 with little to no heat and only a snap on convertible top with snap on side curtains. The route I originally planned was LV, Ely, Twin Falls, Pendleton, Kennewick, Moses Lake and cross into BC at Oroville.
Just wondering if it will be too cold up over the high areas. I might be better off going West to the coast and up through California, Oregon and Washington.
What's the general consensus of the snowbirds that return around this time?
Happy Glamping.

It's the trip! The destination is just the other half.
Happy Glamping.
