Pocatello, Idaho to Salmon, Idaho

We're going up I-15 heading to Salmon, Idaho. We see a couple of options... US 26 out of Blackfoot hooking up with US 93 (we see there is a mountain pass that way), and rte 33 hooking up with rte 28 north of Idaho Falls. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Either way is fine...no matter which route you choose, you'll have a pass to go over: Willow Creek Summit on US-93 and Gilmore Summit on SR-28...both are about the same elevation and no big deal. SR-28 is probably the shorter route since US-93 winds along the Salmon River...but US-93 is probably the more scenic of the two.
