Road travel routes

Has anyone traveled on US 40 between Grandby and I-70 Denver? I'm a 42' Fifth Wheel and the map shows various switch backs yet my trucking map shows it as a route.

Between Winter Park and Empire LOTS of steep grades/tight switchbacks/Hairpin turns
PLUS you have Berthoud Pass, one of the most notoriously difficult passes in Colorado for motorists, based on its height as well as the steep grades on both sides (6.3%) and the large number of switchbacks on the southern side of the pass.

Other than that 24 mile mountainous strip not too bad of a route

Then again....if in Granby and going to Denver not much other choice
