Roughest Interstate?
I just drove from Winterhaven, CA to Columbus, OH and I have to say I-70 east through Indiana is the roughest interstate I've ever been on. Now I've only been RVing since last August so what's the roughest interstate you've been on?
This may help myself and others on what to avoid. I also didn't care for I-17 south out of Flagstaff, AZ because of the 5%-6% downgrade for 18 miles.

I10 in Louisiana usually is the worst. I haven't been that way in a while but I20 in Louisiana wasn't much better. I can't remember if it is I65 or I59, generally bad roads are hard to avoid so just slow down.
I17 is not bad, only the 6% grade try I70, I don;t know what the grade was but it was awesome.
Just remember to let the engine do the work going downhill and TAP the brakes as needed.

That would be my guess but I suspect, tho I haven't been on it, I5 in Cali must be a contender

I would love to know who won the war on I25 between Cheyenne and Denver. Last summer it seemed like there had been a bombing run on the route. It was rough.

I just pulled my TT up I-17 last week and it was a piece of cake. I agree with your Indiana comment. And to make matters worse they charge a toll fee to drive that mess.

Interstates in Colorado tend to be pretty rough. Lots of snow and huge temperature swings tend to test them up.

It will always be that way. It's built on a swamp.

I-287 around New York City. Best route to get to southern New England, but I had doors and drawers pop open and stuff rattling that never happens anywhere else.
The various by-passes around Baltimore are pretty bad, too.

Heck, I thought I popped a wheelie on I-70 east through Indiana and I was only going 63 mph.

Most interstates in California are rough......even the new ones.
In 1969 we put a man on the moon
In 2020 no one has figured out how to pour a smooth concrete interstate yet

I drove I-5 south from Oregon border to Santa Clarita around Labor Day 2019. Wasn't bad at all - did not have to go below 55 mph. Worst section is around Bakersfield. Drove I-10 west from Jacksonville to Palm Springs in December. The drive through Louisiana was pretty good except on the elevated sections. Never had to go under 55 mph. The drive from the Texas border to Junction, TX was some of the worst I've ever experienced given the road construction. Worst non-construction I've experienced is I-10 West in New Mexico west of Las Cruces - about a 10 mile section, and I-20 across Louisiana.

I follow several truck drivers who post videos of their travels on Youtube. Normally they don't complain about road conditions with the exception of Indiana.
Four of them mentioned the roads there were the worst.
