Route 105 - Washington State

I am trying to map out our big trip for 2015 and plan to visit the Olympic Peninsula heading south into Oregon. In Aberdeen, Washington route 101 continues south inland while route 105 heads to the coast and runs along the coast. Is route 105 navigable in an RV and is this a more scenic route for the trip? Looks like Kenanna RV Park would be our stopping location if we go this way unless there are better suggestions.

TIA

No problem driving 105. It is a nice loop and if you have a minute stop out in Tokeland at the Nelson's seafood shack.
Great canned tuna.

We havent stayed at Kenanna but have stayed at the Grayland Beach State Park.
Also an afternoon trip to Westport to see the charter boats come in is also great.

We live about 40 minutes from all this, if you need anything else.

Have fun!

Don't pass up Grayland, its one of the best state parks and try to stay in the lower loops that back to the dunes and the ocean. Nelsons, Bradys, Merlinos are all great places to get seafood along the way . Best clam chowder at Merlinos in Westport.

If I take 105 in favor of 101, do we miss anything of significance that would warrant a trip by car on 101 in that section?

Stay away from Kenanna. The place is a dump despite their internet advertising. Do Lakeside in Westport. CanAm (I think that is the name) is nice. Westport is worth a day. Personally I prefer North Beach on the other side of the harbor.

Hwy 101 from Aberdeen/cosmopolis to Raymond is nothing compared to 105 and all you can see and do.
Westport is a great coastal fishing town.
Bradys oysters is nice, but by local standards way overpriced.
Hope this helps.
