Anyone know best route from Springfield Mo to Carlsbad NM this time of year. Any info would help.

Google Maps says I-44 to Wichita Falls then 277 to 180 to 62 is 810 miles. The is the southernmost route.

Or.. I-44/40 to Amarillo then 60/214/82/62 is 824 miles - the northernmost route.

This time of year watch the weather closely. We'd take the southernmost route.

Are you going anywhere else other than Carlsbad? This is a crummy time of year for that trip.

Yep, going to try and visit most everything that's open working our way up to Seattle.
then store the MH and either drive or take ferry back home to Ak. first couple weeks of April we got late start this year.

Tks for the reply twogypsies. I know were are little off season doing the trip. we plan to work our up to Seattle seeing everything that's open. Of course visiting with friends on the way as well then either take the ferry or drive toad back to Ak. leaving the MH in storage until the fall.
