69 doesn't go into Sedona. It comes off of I-17 and yes, it's a very good road.

If you're talking about 89A from Sedona to Cottonwood to Jerome to Prescott.... don't take it.

From Sedona, get on I-17 south to 169 which will take you into Dewey and from there, Prescott. You don't have to go all the way to 69.

I should have been clearer, i was referring to the 69 from I 17. It looked like a large open road but I was not sure. Thanks for the quick response, headed that way tomorrow.

Is the 169 easy for late rigs?

69 is 4 lane divided all the way to Prescott. 169 is 2 lane, but very good road.

Thanks everyone. We took the 17 out of Sedona to the 169, to the 69 into Prescott. All were nice wide roads, relatively straight and flat. Easy drive in 38 ft rv towing 22ft trailer.
