Route from Loveland Co. to Estes park

Need go to Estes park tomorrow and my gps is routing on highway 34 (big thompson rd). Is that an ok route to take a 45ft diesel pusher towing? TIA

It’s fine, have done that road many times. Just had our 40’ DP on it about 2 weeks ago. Lots if curves but basically a canyon road so no white knuckle drop offs. Plenty of slow vehicle turn outs both up and down. Estes park is one of our favorite destinations. Enjoy.

Agree. It's a good highway for big rigs.

Also has some passing lanes and a few slow vehicle pull-offs that would be long enough for you if needed.

Google Maps says there’s fires in the area, and may affect the route.

The Cameron Fire is north of Hwy 14 toward Red Feather Lakes. The road to Estes is Hwy 34 south of the fire.
