Route Guidance from East to Glacier NP

Im looking for some route guidance. I am coming into GNP from the east on I94. We are staying at North American RV Park in Coram, MT. I have 2 routes Im looking at.

1. I94, exiting in Glendale, MT to US 200 north to US 87 to Great Falls and up I15 or;

2. Stay on I94 (therefore bypassing US200 and US87), through Billings, Bozeman, Butte up to Deer Lodge and catch I15 north

Any recent travels, any issues with US200 or US87?

any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated, this is our first time to GNP.

TIA

The easy way, is to just take I90 to Missoula, then US93 north to Kalispell then pick up US2.

I read something yesterday that said the Indian government that controls the/an east entrance were keeping it closed for all of 2020 because of COVID. I cannot find that now and don't know which entrance they were talking about since I've never been there. Bottom line is I don't know if this impacts you or not. Just suggesting research. I need to also since we planed to go there in August.

EDIT: found the link. https://www.krtv.com/news/montana-an...anche%20Creek.

Go this way.

Any of the roads north of I-90 to the Glacier area on the west side are good. You could also take I-90 to 200 to 83 north. 93 and 83 are both good.

You mention I-94 but I'm sure you mean I-90.

We're making this trip to arrive at Glacier NP August 11-17 then down to west gate of Yellowstone NP August 19-24.

Another report on East Closure: https://www.montanarightnow.com/grea...P1cTBIzBy8gz8s

For those that are familiar with the East approach(es), what does this mean?
