Hi, you do not specify where in Washington State you are departing from. I lived in Tacoma for five years and made regular trips to St. Louis from Tacoma. Back then the easiest route was down I-5 to Vancouver, WA. then I-84 east to Logan, UT. then I-15 south to Ogden, UT. then I-84 east again to I-80 to Echo, UT. Follow I-80 east into Nebraska and turn south on US 81 to Oklahoma City. From there you can pick up I-44 west to Lawton. I-80 elevation climbs to around 6,500 ft. in Wyoming but the road is good. You might want to consider buying the Western States Trucker's Atlas as it has all the information you need about mountain passes. Safe travels and enjoy the journey.

If you get on Google Maps and plug in Yakima, WA to Lawton, OK this is the route you'll get.

You'll have 1800 miles and with a RV figure an average of 50-55mph to include stops and fuel. Driving 8 hr/day (too long in my opinion for one driver) it will take you 4-5 days.

(I didn't know where you're starting from). Your big hills will be in Oregon then it's smooth sailing.

Pick up a highway atlas book and highlight this route so it's easy to follow while driving for looking ahead.

Yakima to Umatilla to I-84.

Just east of Pendleton, OR around MP217 eastbound is an uphill climb of 12 miles with up to 6% grades. This will tax your engine so watch your gauges. This will be your only biggie.

Around MP359 near Ontario, Oregon you'll have 14 miles of short ups and downs up to 5-6% grades.

Continue on I-84 into Utah then pick up I-15 south thru Salt Lake City. Continue beyond to Spanish Fork, UT and take 89 for a few miles where you'll pick up Hwy 6 taking you to Hwy 191 south to I-70 at Green River, UT and I-70.

Take I-70 east at Green River for a short distance to MP 182 and pick up Hwy 191 south toward Moab, UT continuing to Monticello, UT.

Pick up 491 east to Shiprock, New Mexico connecting to Hwy 64 east to Farmington, New Mexico.

Pick up NM 550 SE to I-25 just north of Albuquerque. Take I-25 south to I-40 and go east to Amarillo, Texas.

Pick up 287 east to tiny Memphis, Texas and pick up 256 east for a few miles to Hwy 62 east taking you into Lawton, Oklahoma.
