Looking for suggestions for best route from Klamath Falls to Winchester Bay. We are a 43' Class A plus tow. Should we take 97 to 138 to 38 or 140 to 5 to Sutherlin and then 138 to 38? Thanks!

I personally prefer the 140 route. The 138 is a little windy. The 140 to I-5 route is a very nice drive and comfortable drive. Happy Travels

140 is very nice. Loved camping at Lake of the Woods whenever we visited the relatives in K Falls.
And the 138 from Sutherlin is our typical route from I-5 to the coast5. Really beautiful. We usually stop at the Dairy Queen at the 138 exit for a treat.
We usually do Klamath Falls to Winchester Bay (we love that place) once or twice a year. We take 140 out of Klamath to Central Point then I-5 north to Sutherlin then 138 then 38 over to the coast and then to Winchester Bay.
We are a 33 foot Vacationer towing a Jeep Wrangler. It is a good route, about a 5 hour drive or so, maybe a tad less.
