RV parking in Indy?

Hi all, can anyone give me information on where is a good spot to park your RV when going to the Indy Supercross at the Lucas Oil Stadium. We are heading there this weekend and have no idea yet on where we will be parking a 40ft class A. Thanks for any info and help

I'd check with the stadium. You may be able to park with the buses. Our grandson moved to Indy two years ago and at that time there were MANY road projects that made driving a challenge in a motor home. I'd check for road construction before going back with the RV.

There are a couple of campgrounds on the southwest side of the city that are not far from the stadium. Although it is a little further away, the Indiana State Fairgrounds has a camping area. I am not sure if any of them are open this time of year. Temps are to be cold in the mid 30’s for high, overnight down to mid 20’s. Call the places.

Lakehaven on the south side is open year round. Everything else is closed for season. All the state parks are typically open, but water situation varies. If you need full hookups, Prophetstown State Park has them. However, it's about 1:15 drive to downtown from there. In my desperation to camp, I have done it.
