Shelter Cove from 101 (Garberville)
Driving my 35’ Ventana to Shelter Cove next month - a lot of people don’t like the road but I don’t see anything wrong with it and it looks a lot easier than Branscomb over to West Port from 101 which I found easy enough and for the most part enjoyable. So any insights? Mainly wanting to put the navigator at ease. Thanks.

I have not drove this route, but would like to also. only info I have found is length of trip and that the last mile or so is like driving down an elevator shaft. Hope to see some replies from people who have made the trip.

Well I can tell you there is a mile or so of 16% on Branscomb and it was ok, just had to stay on top of it. But they get supplies and build houses in Shelter Cove so obviously trucks are making the run routinely. Do you know the grade of the elevator shaft portion?

going towards the end of Sept so yes, I’ll give my impressions of the road in and out. Thanks for the video - I ran it at 2x and it made him look like a pretty good driver
