Shenandoah National Park Clearances

Anyone traveled north on the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia with their Class A RV and had an issue with Mary's Tunnel at 12'8" height or entered off of Route 211 at the Thornton Gap entrance station onto the Park at 12'6"? I am really close to both in height. I am wondering if the heights given are to the center line highest point or the road edge. The guys at the Park entrances don't know. We have an Allegro Bay 37QDB. Thanks.

My understanding is that most states add a little extra so if it says 12'6 it is most likely a few inches higher but I would not count on it.

Working from memory only (not always a good thing), I drove most of the length of SNP park about 7 years ago...in a car. Even if you have tunnel clearance, there are many large tree branches all along the Parkway to watch out for as well.
