SLC to Rapid City SD

Does anybody have experience using hwy 18 from Casper WY vs hwy 85 from Cheyenne? Hour longer from Cheyenne but my concern is mountain climbs, tunnels and curves on hwy 18.
Thanks

Not sure I understand?

This would be My Route - https://binged.it/2yeyYPA - The short jump across the BigHorn Mountains on RT 16 is really not bad at all.

Let's make the drive as good as the Destination. likely I'd stop for the night along the Wind River between Shoshoni and Thermopolis.

Soooooo much to see and never enough time.

JMHO,
