Spearfish SD to Hardin Montana 90 how about 212?

Anybody ever take 212 out of spearfish on 212 northwest to Hardin Montana vs 90.
90 268 mile 212 223 miles yet same time....3.5 hours
Probably a two lane road. 90 posted as 80 mph but in my 2014 bounder I’m not doing 80. 65 ish.
Thoughts?
Thanks

We always use Secondary/Back roads when traveling...hate Interstates

212 is quite doable/relaxing and no 80 mph traffic zipping by

212 was our preferred route when I was trucking good road and saves almost 200 miles. Plus it's a lot more interesting.

Take 212. Easy drive with your 60-70 mph instead of others 75-90 mph on the interstate. Plus not nearly as many people either. Be prepared though, you will be driving through some desolate areas there with lots of areas with no good cell service.

Did 212 from spearfish to 90 today. Visited custers last stand. Couple areas fully stopped for minutes due to road construction.
Very relaxing. Saved 50 miles but took an extra hour.
Thanks everyone
