Tolls

Pulling a travel trailer from Ohio to Bar Harbor Maine. What should I expect to pay in tolls?

Depends on the highway . Some have a per axle rate.

Coming through NY , I paid double what my B-in-L in a class A with no toad did , with my truck and 5er. What bother me the most was his rig out weighed mine by several tons.
Lay out your proposed route and check the highways for toll sections, in a road atlas, a lot can be avoided , without a lot of extra miles.

A good deal of that trip will be without tolls. Use I-80 to cross PA. Then I-81 to I-84. There are several ways around Boston. It will depend on traffic as to which is best there. Then I-95 to Maine. Not many tolls along this route.

You will pay tolls. Get an EZ-Pass from the state of your choice; some offer discounts in their state. The EZ-Pass is usually free; you have to maintain a balance $$ on your account...... But the convenience is worth it!

But there are tolls. When you cross Hudson River. From I-84 you get on I-90 (Mass Turnpike) toll amount depends upon where you get off and type vehicle. You will also hit tolls in New Hampshire and Maine on I-95, same thing, type vehicle and where you go.

Best advice, get EZPass!

Last year I traveled 90 to 86 to 88 into Albany. Then back on 90. Rt 88 is Terrible but saved some bucks and time around the falls. Spent a lot of time in Boston traffic. 2 hrs. If u can avoid it and go through Vermont it might be worth it . Try rt 87 or 91 north just a thought .
