Traveling North

Leaving Florida in two weeks to head to upstate NY. Leaving Motorhome here for a later date pickup. Traveling with a car trailer in tow.

Any issues going up I95 thru GA, SC, NC, VA and PA ???
Rest areas open ? Gas stations ? I already booked two nights in Motels (ugh)

Taking I95 to Fredericksburg, over 17, 66, and then up I81 to Scranton then over I84 to Newburgh and up I87.

Have some surgeries scheduled so have to head home. Upstate NY is like here in Brevard County.

Thanks
Jim

A lot of conversation on travel in that area here:

But a lot can change in two weeks too. Good luck!

You need to check and confirm that the surgery is still going to happen. Hospitals are canceling scheduled surgeries due to Covid. I have a good friend whose major heart surgery was just cancelled.

Just got home to central NY today.

We left Miami on Thursday and took I-95 to I-26 to I-77 to I-81 north of Syracuse.

Gas avalable everywhere, rest areas open, very, very light traffic. Strange to see all of the empty shopping malls. No motels, we drove the RV.

We used Wal-Mart bags as gloves at the gas pumps and picked up food supplies at gas station convenience stores. With no gas customers, there were few shoppers in the stores.
