Traveling to Pigeon Forge, Tn.
We just got back from a wonderful week in Pigeon Forge Tn. We went in one way and came out another, neither of which were very comfortable in a Class A. My question is which is the best, not necessarily the quickest, way to get to Pigeon Forge from I 40?

We go to Pigeon forge by getting off I-40 in Sevierville at exit 407 Rt 66. The follow Rt66 to Pigeon Forge. We had no problems at all.

Agreed, Rt 66 is 4 lane, divided parkway all the way from I-40 to Pigeon Forge. Many years ago you had to go from Knoxville to PF on US 441, but even that is now 4 lane road.
Did you come in from TN 72 or US 129? Those are not RV friendly and very indirect ways to get there.

True, but if possible avoid 441 exit in Knoxville, construction town and we took a wrong turn at a detour, wow what a mess. Wish I hd gone on up to Hwy. 66. That's the way we came back out.

We went there in late October a few years ago and it was stunning !
