Trip planner with weather

Has anyone come across a trip planning app that also has a weather function? Or at least a weather app that has good road information?

There are a number of excellent apps I use to check weather at a given location and a variety of good trip planning applications or websites. And of course if there's any concern about road conditions you can sometimes also check for road cams.

I haven't yet found one app or site that does it all. If someone hasn't already done it this might be a good opportunity for some clever developer out there...

Any thoughts?

It is not an app, but very friendly. I use it in the car, on the motorcycle, and any other way I go.

Know of no apps - but I use this website Driving Directions and Weather - Trip Planner - Weather Along Your Route - AccuWeather.com put in start and end locations and it shows weather all along the route. Plus it gives the turn by turn directions. Not much of a planning tool as it only has start and stop locations but nice to use in the morning to see what you can expect on today's route.

I'm familiar with Accuweather but hadn't heard of the Get-there-dry site. I'll check it out but keep looking / hoping for that magic app that does it all. Thanks for your replies.

I just downloaded InRoute. It looks good but comes at a cost if you want it full featured. Provides multi-stop routing, wind, precipitation, curviness and elevation changes. I'll know more after I use it next week between Dallas and San Diego.

I think I have something that can prove useful:

I have been working for a while on my new project - Weather on the Way. The app shows weather forecast for a travel route, along with sunrise and sunset and short description of weather at arrival. You can try different routes or set the time of departure in the future. For obvious reasons, I'm waiting with the release until things quiet down, however I have opened a public beta program. I'm looking for feedback so I can address it before the release.
