US-2 from Lincoln, NH to Great Pond, ME

Hi,
Is US-2 the best(only?) route from NH to just east of Bangor, ME? Is it a good road for traveling in a class A(w/towd)? Is the road surface good, many hills, curves, etc. How long should the trip take?
Any advice on driving this route much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

You should have no problem. That part of route 2 is in pretty good shape. There are some moderate hills, but nothing you will have any trouble with. Some very pretty scenery and places to stop. The trip will be about 4 hours of driving time.

Thanks, Gary, good to hear. Looks like US-2 is about the best/only route to take leaving mid-NH area and going to east of Bangor.
Appreciate the input.
