Good day - - Has anyone traveled US 331 between I-10 and Montgomery, AL, Passing through Opp, AL.

Is it a 2 lane, 4, lane hi way? Does it have a nice shoulder, in other words, is it RV friendly.

I am trying to find a different route other than US 231, which I normally travel.

Great to hear - - can you tell me if it's 2 or 4 lane the majority of the way.

My issue is I am slow enough without getting behind farm equipment, and the like.

Hi,
US 331 is a 2 lane highway between I-10 and Montgomery, AL. There are portions of the road that are 4 lane when you get near some cities, such as Opp and Brantley. It is a very good road and it also has places with truck lane when traversing some hills. Traffic is not bad but it is just 2 lanes where US 231 is 4 lane all the way.
