US I-65 North

I'm presently staying in Branson Missouri. This coming Tuesday morning I plan to head to Des Moines Iowa via highway 65 north.

Anyone out there have any information on the current conditions traveling us 65 North.?

We we're heading to Oklahoma City and Albuquerque NM but to many roads were washed out, and alot bridge closures.

Just curious if anyone has traveled 65 n and if anyone has current info on road conditions.

From Des Moines Iowa we will travel the upper peninsula through Michigan and then down into Indiana.

Thanks

I don't think you will have any issues on 65. The only place you are likely to see water where it doesn't belong in Mo would be in the Carrollton area...

I usually take 13 to KC then 35 to Des Moines

65 is scenic but slow after Springfield but pleasant if you take your time

More likely 13 to 7 to I49.(US 71). Unless you really like city traffic a better plan would be stay on 13 to Bethany, then jump on I 35. But much of 65 is 4 lane, or improved 2 lane.
