So, we experienced this yesterday (7/8/2021). We left the campground (Chinook RV Resort in Klamath, Ca) and got to the construction area at 9:30 am. The road is closed from 8am to noon, and from 3pm to 7pm. from noon to 3pm, and overnight, it is subject to one-way alternating traffic. Anyway, at 9:30am we were the 16th vehicle in line. At 12:00 EXACTLY we started moving and were through the construction zone quickly. The line of vehicles waiting to come south was easily 5 miles long - we were pretty sure not all of them would make it through before they closed it at 3pm.

We found out that some campgrounds, including Chinook RV Resort, were handing out flyers explaining the issue and other campgrounds, including Klamath Camper Corral, were NOT informing their customers - we met some VERY unhappy RVers!
