Victorville to Palm Springs

looking at taking 247 from Victorville to Palm Springs.... is this a good enough road for a 45' class a with tow? trying to stay out of the San Bernardino freeway mess.

247 is a good, 2 lane paved highway into Yucca Valley where it terminates at 62. You may find 247 a bit narrow but 18 wheelers and commercial buses use it especially whenever I-15 is closed due to fire or snow. Be ready to use your engine brake on a long 247 downhill into Yucca Valley and again on 62 as it drops toward I-10. Should be no problem.

215 - 210 - 10 avoids San Berdoo. 247 is doable, but these freeways, avoiding rush hour, are what I used when I lived in Temecula & visited family in Apple Valley.
