WARNING for I-77 in West Virginia

Heads up / WARNING for anyone traveling on Interstate-77 regarding the toll road.
It appears that some are arriving at the Newmar rally at Lewisburg with damage to their coaches. To avoid problems or damage, please read below:

This is a friendly alert for all of you traveling to the International Rally in Lewisburg, WV. If you are traveling on Interstate 77, you will have to pay tolls. That being said, when you go through the toll booth, use the TRUCK lanes only.

We have been informed by the our State Director that there are rigs showing up at Lewisburg with battle damage after making contact with the normal tool booth. This is very important if you don't want to damage your coach.

IN SUMMARY, WHEN GOING THROUGH THE TOLL BOOTH, BE SURE TO USE THE TRUCK LANES ONLY.

I travel 77 from Cleveland to Charleston WV and then across 64 to Lexington Kentucky all the time, never seen a toll booth on any of itů

Apparently the toll section is south of Charleston where the 77 and 64 overlay. On the route to Lewisburg.

WARNING for I-77 in West Virginia

Are they doing something new or different? Been through there many times, never worried about getting to the truck lanes. Normal toll booths, had to pay attention, but not a don't fit kind of thing.

Just noticed one of the WV Toll Booths in the video I was watching recently:

They go through a non-truck lane at a toll booth at about the 8:41 mark.

Keep in mind that many of the newer large 5'ers & upper level class A DP's will be at or near 13'6" high.. Many of the "Auto" toll booths are 13' or less in clearances.. That "gasser" would be about 12' to 12'6" high

We did not have a height issue, but Nan did hit the guard rain coming into the 1st booth we came to. They have the lanes very narrow. Fortunately the only damage was to our clearance light which was easily replaced. If the side camera were 3" lower, it would have been taken off. For the rest of the trip we used the outside lane.
