Wyoming RT 191 or RT 287

We're still debating how to go from I-80 to Grand Tetons.
I believe RT 191 looks gentle, but Rt 287 has rest stops. Is this a preferred route? Why did the state build rest stops on that road and not Rt191?

While I fly google maps, I'm thinking Rt287 has more climbs and more mountains to cross.

What's your experience?

Route 287 is a good route a lot of trucks run this route I would take 287 to 26 you'll have some big polls on 26 starting about Dubois WY I've been on both those roads from the grand Tetons to Casper down to 287 to 80 in a semi truck very nice ride I think there is a very nice KOA campground in Dubois
