Yellowstone/Grand Tetons/ Grand Canyon route suggestions

Hi. We are still working on our trip next winter. We have a reservation booked in West Yellowstone at Henry's Lake State Park until Sept. 3rd and Sept 3-5 at Headstone in the Grand Tetons. Our next reservation is at the Grand Canyon on Sept. 16th. I have 12 days to fill in and i'm looking for a safe route with things to see along the way. Arches and Bryce Canyon are 2 possible stops. We are pulling a 35 ft fifth wheel with a 1 ton dually and we want to make sure the route is not more than we can handle. I know we won't see everything but that's OK. We plan to return some other time. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Stopping over in Moab UT you can do Arches and Canyonlands Nat'l Parks.
Over to Bryce (our favorite) you can easily do day trip to Zion N.P.

The routes are easy with only a couple of small climbs. You can easily do it.

We've been all over that area with a DRW pulling a 43' fifth wheel! No problems on any of the roads! Enjoy!

Look into a few of these stops along the way - Flaming Gorge - Dinosaur NM - RT 128 along the Colorado River into Moab - Arches - Monument Valley - Goosenecks - Page/Antelope Canyon - Rt 64 east entrance into GC.

That will easily fill your 12 days

Best of Luck.

Thanks ToniDi, Oldelevatorman and Busskipper. I am looking at your suggestions and trying to move ahead with my plans. It's always great to get suggestions from people who have been there before.
