We have a 2021 keystone cougar with the front led strip lights. It has a on off switch but want to hook up a remote relay instead of the switch to turn them on with the key remote. Not sure how to wire something with only one DC positive wire since the leds are grounded inside the front cover with no access? Can I just run a separate ground wire from the chassis to the relay?

I got it today. I had to ad in a ground wire to the output on the relay and hook up to correct led light wire to the positive on the relay. now I have a working remote on off switch for the front led strip lights.
