2007 Crossroads Cruiser Land Roamer 30QB Help
We have the chance to buy a 2007 Crossroads Cruiser Land Roamer M-30QB from a guy at my work at an awesome price. He used it to full time for two years before they came to AZ and bought a house. They have used it once in about a year that they have been out here. He has had it in storage since he bought the house about a year ago. He paid $48,000 new for it off the lot and he just wants to get rid of it so he can buy a Jeep for commuting(he commutes 65 miles one way to work). They found they just have not been using it as much as they used to and have stopped full-timing. He customized it to a full timing lifestyle, and made it better. He said it just needs a new window and a few vents on top (due to some kids trying to break in at the storage lot he had it at)He is also willing to sell his 2003 Dodge 2500 5.9L Turbo Diesel Short Bed 4X4 with the hitch included and everything we need to get started using it. The truck has 270,000 miles on it and he has done all maintenance to it that it needs. We can pick up the combo truck and trailer for $20,000. Trailer is $12,000 and truck would be $8,000. Is this a good deal? What do you all think? Should we jump on this deal? We are going to look at it this week sometime. Is there anything we should look for? Is this a good model trailer? My husband and I would like to start full-timing with our 2 medium sized dogs (a Weimaraner and Chesapeake Bay Retriever). Thank you for all of your help! We look forward to going to see it!
Have a great and safe week!
Sincerely,
Snow and Anton

Well, he probably didn't pay $48k for the Cruiser but $12k is still a good price. Are you handy with fixing the "little" problems? If not, ask him to get them fixed as part of the deal. My 2004 Cruiser cost $25k and I sold it in Feb. for $12.7k, the buyer and I split the cost of a new converter that I installed. My 2011 Cruiser, loaded to the hilt cost $33k. Hope this helps.
Can't really comment on the truck, my '03 GMC only has 65k miles. The diesel motor may be fine, but what about all that 4x4 hardware?? Have it checked out by a mechanic. You don't want to be full-timing with a truck that has problems every other day.

My bad..it's a Land Roamer 315QB
OK, so we went to go look at this setup and were impressed by what we saw. It is actually a 315QB Land Roamer Cruiser Rv that was made by Double Tree RV. It is a late model 2007, made in December 2007. It needs just a few minor repairs and it is basically turn-key and comes with everything we need to get stated rving and the remainder of a 7 year warranty for anything major. The truck is a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew cab 5.9L 4x4 Diesel with 270,000 miles on it. It has a heavy duty suspension and everything 4wd has been replaced. It is in really good shape and comes with the hitch as well. He is asking $20K for the package and we are looking at buying it. Any concerns with this setup? Any info would be great! Thank you and we look forward to any and all comments. Have a great and safe week!
Sincerely,
Snow and Anton

I would still have the truck checked out by a mechanic, it needs to be a reliable tow vehicle for you. When was the 4wd work done? Two months ago or 170,000 miles ago?? Again, the reason for a good second opinion.
While not critical, if the rv was built in Dec. '07, then it really should be an '08 model. Model year changeover for cars is during the summer months. For rvs it is even sooner, like April. Right now, rv manufacturers are building 2012 models and they have been for several months.

I tried sending another link to pictures on another forum and it didn't work, but I have since redid the album so I hope it works this time.

Hoosier 5ver here. Unless things were different in 07' Cruiser Rv was not made by crossroads cruiser division of Thor Industries. Mostly made in Topeka IN.
I'm a little fuzzy on this but currently Cruiser RV is made by DRV, In. This used to be called Doubletree RV.
DRV also makes Mobile Suites and try's to operate separately as DRV Suites. They are all located in Howe In.
It is important to nail down the family tree for your old/new rv. With so many companies changing hands in the last few years it would be good to find a dealers service department who is a warranty dealer for your model. It's good to avoid a orphan rv., unless your just going to park it somewhere. Most of the above info is available on line. Good Luck.

Crossroads did build cruisers in 2007 and DRV also builds a cruiser. Isn't it neat when the manufacturers can use any name they want
