2008 Crossroads Cruiser

Recently bought a Crossroads Cruiser fifth wheel and noticed that the front jacks are very slow in extending or retracting? I had another fifth wheel several years ago and don't remember the gear taking what seems like forever to extend or retract? Any thing I should be looking for, or is this normal?
